"You know that death is the most beautiful part of life, right?
Death is beautiful because we all fear death.
And fear is the most amazing emotion of all
because it creates complete awareness.
When you’re scared it forces you to be completely aware of your surroundings and the moment you’re in.It brings you to NOW.
And that makes you truly present.
And when you are truly present,
that’s nirvana,
that’s pure love.
So, death is pure love."

I know it's the guru who says that in the movie and it was supposed to be a confused/confusing message, a proof of his twisted sickness etc but I can't help to find this "true" and more than interesting. Yeah I mean why do we fear death so much ?

DEATH
OK we are not Socrates so death does not look happy to us because it's the moment our soul is released, ready to go back to the Intelligible Realm and finally seperated to its (her?) enslavement to our bodies but yes death is a part of life and we just have to accept it.
Just for the record, contrary to popular belief, death is not opposed to life. There is Birth and there is Death, in the middle there is Life. Death is actually a PART of life. Can't remember where exactly I read it. Anyway I really think we should stop being afraid of death. Of course it's easier said than done. Personally I'm still afraid of death because I'm so young and haven't achieved a lot of things yet. But there are some moments when I feel I could die just tomorrow, and die happy. These moments seems very important to me. I'll try all my life to feel them.
I love life to death, but I think I'll never, never, never inflict birth on someone. Not in this world. What is also beautiful in death is that you can choose it whereas birth is never never a choice. (And no the foetus does not "want" to be brought in the world, it's a foetus.)

So what about life ? Can WE make it start, and/or end it ?

FEAR
This statement moved me because I've been experiencing fear lately and realised how it can be part of the game, the thrill, how much you can enjoy the moment , and how much you learn from it at the end. I've finally understood why there are games such as the russian roulette, binge drinking etc. Fear is powerful, fear can lead you to the strangest places. But what is so amazing about fear is that it creates complete awareness. Could seem paradoxical but it's not, fully awareness makes you stop thinking and so you act as a kind of "other yourself", and that other yourself can become really really important.

LIVING THE PRESENT
I'm still trying to figure out what exactly is the present and if there is a thing such as that and so if we can "live" it. Tell me if you have any clue.
